General Information of Requester AOE Co., LTD is specialized in the R&D and production of surface acoustic wave devices. CETC 26th, a subordinate of AOE Co., LTD, has engaged in the R&D of SAW technology for more than 30 years and has succeeded in producing thousands of devices and components, completing thousands of scientific research tasks and obtaining nearly a thousand of scientific achievements. CETC 26th has won more than 100 national, ministerial and municipal scientific achievement awards and 3 National Invention Prizes. SAW devices produced by AOE Co., LTD have been widely applied to mobile communication system and AOE Co., LTD now is a qualified supplier for mobile equipment companies like Huawei and ZTE.  2. International Cooperation Status AOE Co., LTD is rich in international cooperation experience and maintains a good cooperation relationship with universities, research institutes and companies from Europe and United States. AOE Co., LTD has signed many technological cooperation agreements and contracts with those partners and conducts expert exchanges each year.                                                  [Technical Requirements Summary] 1. Importance and necessity of requested project, and relations with key projects and industries of Chongqing City. With the popularization of the third generation mobile communication, the fourth generation is just around the corner. Mobile phones from now on might need to be compatible with 2G, 3G and 4G and different systems of different operators. Therefore, the surface acoustic wave filter needed in one mobile phone may reach 5-8. However, for mobile phone, an inch of PCB circuit board is an inch of gold. Those components which have occupied too much space on the PCB circuit board thus are not acceptable. The integration of RF separated components of mobile phone is going to be the trend. Components domestic mobile phones use mainly rely on import and a large gap exists with respect to competitiveness compared with foreign brands. Now the SAW filter and related modules of RF front-end are completely relying on import and domestic R&D of this field is still blank. The localization of mobile phone RF modules is one of the important technologies for improving the competitiveness of domestic mobile phones. According to a conservative estimation, with the popularization of smart phones, RF module market could reach more than $2 billion.  2.
